Directions for use
To be taken in divided dose for 3 days. Take 4 tabs for the first dose then another dose after 8 hours. The following day, give one dose in the morning and another at night (repeat this for the third day as well). Give preferably with a fatty meal.
Lonart 20/120 x24 is a 24-tablet pack of a combination antimalarial medication used to treat uncomplicated malaria caused by the Plasmodium falciparum parasite. Each tablet contains 20mg of Artemether and 120mg of Lumefantrine, which work synergistically to eliminate the malaria infection, and the pack contains a full 3-day treatment course typically taken as six doses over 60 hours. It is crucial to complete the entire course of treatment to ensure all the parasites are eradicated and to prevent the development of drug resistance. This medication is suitable for both adults and children, with the dosage carefully adjusted based on the patient’s body weight. Finally, the tablets should always be stored in a cool, dry place and kept out of the reach of children.
