Gyneamed Clotrimazole is an antifungal medication. It kills and stops the growth of the fungi by destroying its cell membrane, thereby treating your skin infection.
Dosage & When it is to be taken (Indications)
Tab- Adult: PO- The recommended dose is 10 mg/day for 7 days.
Suppository- 100 mg/day for 6 days.
Solution- Instill 1% solution as directed by your physician.
Lotion/cream/solution- Apply 2-3 times/day for 2-4 weeks.
Side effects of Gynaemed Vaginal
General: Itching, redness, swelling, irritation of skin, nausea, vomiting, and burning.
How to use Gynaemed Vaginal?
It comes as a tablet to take by mouth. It also comes as a cream, lotion, powder, and solution to apply over the skin.
When Should Gynaemed Vaginal not be taken? (Contraindications)
Hypersensitivity.
