Ciprogem Tablet is a prescription medicine that is used to treat bacterial infections of the skin, soft tissues, bone, and joints. Ciprogem Tablet is also used to treat various respiratory tract infections including bronchitis and sinus, to treat bacterial infections in other parts of the body including, urinary tract infections, kidneys, stomach, intestines, and ears, to treat sexually transmitted infections, such as gonorrhea, to treat typhoid fever and infectious diarrhea, and to treat certain potentially fatal infectious diseases, including, anthrax and plague.
How to use
Read the medication guide provided by your pharmacist, your doctor, or the medicine company. If you have any questions related to Ciprogem, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Use Ciprogem Tablet as per the instructions provided by your doctor.
Ciprogem is used with or without food. Drink plenty of fluids while taking Ciprogem. Tell your doctor if you can not swallow the entire tablet. Do not crush, split or chew the tablet. Ciprogem is used in the morning and evening.
Typical Dosage
The typical dose of Ciprogem for adults is 250 -750 mg every 12 hours. The usual dose for children is 10-20 mg/kg (4.5-9.1 mg/lb) every 12 hours. This medicine is generally used for a period of 7-14 days for urinary tract infections, 7-14 days for lower respiratory tract infections, and 10 days for typhoid fever. Ciprogem is commonly used at the same time every day.
